Surveys
WFA conducts two surveys annually; the Financial Survey and the Annual Labor Review. Compiled results of each survey are only distributed to the participating companies. Additionally, we have added a Safety Survey which will be conducted in its full form once every three years and in the off years, an abbreviated version will be prepared. The Financial Survey includes data on sales, assets, net profit, compensation, steel usage, and compares net income to owners’ equity. The Annual Labor Review provides composite information for comparison purposes on personnel breakdown, hourly wages, rates for various job classes, overtime differentials, insurance and vacation data and much more. The Safety Survey breaks questions down into four categories: Managerial Structure/Support, Statistical Data, Training/Implementation/Measurement, Compliance and Incentives. Each of these categories contains specific questions that, when compiled, allows you to compare your current safety program with that of other similar fabricating companies across North America.
