Meetings

WFA holds three meetings per year - Spring, Fall and Winter. The Spring and Fall Meetings include a social hour and dinner the night before, a half-day meeting consisting mostly of a discussion on current economic developments and trends in the industry, a luncheon, and a guest speaker presentation or a member plant tour. 

The Winter Meeting commences with a welcome dinner on Thursday and ends with a group dinner on Saturday. Mornings are reserved for meetings and presentations. One afternoon is devoted to golfing, fishing, or relaxing. Spouses accompany most members to the Winter Meeting, which is held in January. 

Probably the most valuable part of the meetings is the Roundtable discussions. At all meetings, 60-90 minutes is allocated to discuss current "hot topics" in the industry, current economic conditions and prospects for the next quarter and beyond. Members are candid in their statements and various points of view are always presented. This may be your best return on time and money anywhere!
